Well, it’s been an ugly 24 hours for the coalition government, which begs a few questions: are we seeing the beginning of the end? Winston Peters has basically said the Government has failed to fix the economy – it’s actually pretty extraordinary when you consider that was their main election platform – yet unemployment is on the rise, the vast majority of Kiwis are feeling the pinch of the cost of living, and inflation is far from under control.
