The oldest Māori trust in the country, Te Arawa Lakes Trust have announced their new board of trustees.
The oldest Māori trust in the country, Te Arawa Lakes Trust have announced their new board of trustees.
Announced at yesterday’s trust AGM in Rotorua, new board members include Kereama Wright, Annette Sykes, Karren Vercoe, Nicki Douglas and Wally Haumaha.
Trustees Te Ururoa Flavell, Arapeta Tahana and Rangitihi Pene retained their positions.
Voting statistics show that out of around 22,000 registered voters, only around 2,000 people submitted votes.
Re-election will stand in three years
