Waiata filled Papawai marae in Wairarapa on Saturday, as hundreds gathered to celebrate the return of Wairarapa Moana and a patu iwi gave to the Crown more than 120 years ago.Wairarapa Moana was returned as part of Treaty settlement redress, including through joint legislation for Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa Tāmaki nui-a-Rua Settlement Trust and Rangitāne Tū Mai Rā Trust.
