Urban Māori gap for Auckland future spruikers
The Committee for Auckland, which says it exists to boost the city’s long-term prosperity and well-being, has appointed four new directors.
They’re University of Auckland deputy vice chancellor Frank Bloomfield, architect Ilona Haghshenas, Adithi Pandi from consulting firm Deloitte and education entrepreneur Frances Valintine.
The 10-member committee for the world’s largest Māori city has one Māori, Ngāti Whātua Whai Rawa chief executive Tom Irvine.
