Dancing in the Rain is about living in the moment, whatever your situation.
He says the video was directed by Shae Sterling, who had intended to film it in New York – but it didn’t rain while he was there.
“So he came back to New Zealand. They filmed it in Auckland city centre with a dancer called Asniel and Mike, two dancers and they just danced in the street while it was raining,” he says.
