New Green MP Darleen Tana says she’s impressed with her first look at Parliament.
The Waiheke-based wahine is one of 14 new MPs, including four from Te Pati Kakariki, who had to go through an induction process this week.
“It’s impressive in so many ways, acknowledging the whakapapa of this place and those who have come through here and the mahi they have done. We all knew that coming in but the reality hits when you’re here.” Yes, it’s an impressive place,” Ms Tana says.
