“I said to Coster, you know the first memory of the police was when you guys raided my house at 3 years old and took all my christmas presents away. So how can we minimise the trauma on children because it’s not our fault, he says.
Feedback from Zac Guildford was it was the most authentic interview he’s ever given.
Dave Letele, who’s of Samoan and Ngāti Maniapoto descent, says he hopes to give a voice to people who have struggled with difficult choices and situations in their lives – and how they have managed to cope.
