Home advantage firing up Warrior

Warriors’ captain Tohu Harris says he’s playing out of his skin this season because he’s home in Aotearoa.
The Ngāti Kahungunu 31-year-old played all 80 minutes of his 200th game on the weekend as the Warriors dominated the North Queensland Cowboys 26 to 12.
Commentator Ken Laban says his running metres and tackle average per game is already well above last season – and he looks injury-free at long last.

You know, hopefully he stays healthy, and stays on the park. And I am told as well that on and off the field he’s a magnificent leader and mentor for the younger players coming through. And obviously leading the first grade team – they’re off to a great start in 2023.
Ken Laban is picking the Warriors to hold out the Canterbury Bulldogs for their 3rd win of the season at their first Auckland home game next Sunday.
