It's the fourth anniversary of the Christchurch mosque attacks, and Greens co-leader Marama Davidson says she's concerned not enough has been done since then to stop the spread of hate and misinformation on social media.

It’s the fourth anniversary of the Christchurch mosque attacks, and Greens co-leader Marama Davidson says she’s concerned not enough has been done since then to stop the spread of hate and misinformation on social media.

Even though the shooter came from Australia to mount the attack, she says it showed an underbelly of extremism, racism and bigotry in Aotearoa.

“And we’ve definitely got a lot more work to do in being more cohesive across our communities and for our Muslim whanau, naming and labelling the extreme racism they face every day still,” Ms Davidson says.
