Tutor Chris Henare says the Tipi Haere Tour on April 1 takes in the Ngati Hine Festival at Otiria Marae in the morning and Te Rangiāniwaniwa in Awanui in the evening.
“It’s really about sharing the love and giving back to our communities of the far north and Taitokerau so we just want to give back to the community. Also it’s a fundraiser so we can also give support to our relations in Kahungunu and Te Tairawhiti who are still going through a tough time at the moment,” he says.
