Greens' co-leader Marama Davidson believes the party's Te Tai Tokerau candidate will give incumbent Kelvin Davis a solid challenge.

Greens’ co-leader Marama Davidson believes the party’s Te Tai Tokerau candidate will give incumbent Kelvin Davis a solid challenge.

Huhana Lyndon has a high profile in the north through her involvement with iwi and her mahi as chief executive of the Ngatiwai Trust Board and Ngati Hine Forestry Trust.

“She’s always been committed to her rohe. She’s been a consistent, strong voice for Tai Tokerau, for hapu, and that is the immense wealth and connection of the north that she brings to the Green Party and to these electiions and Tai Tokerauwhanau, hapu and iwi need strong representation,” Ms Davidson says.
