Download AudioJustice Minister Kiritapu Allan said she was moved by the mana of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
President Zelenskyy addressed the New Zealand Parliament this week as part of a campaign to for support for his 10-point plan to end the Russian invasion of his country.
He raised what he called Russia’s use of eco-warfare, including the poisoning of water and the planting on mines in land and sea .
Minister Allan says it was profound.
“I was stuck alongside many colleagues just by the mana, the strength he has led his peoplee through such trials and tribulations in a time of life and death, it was moving,” she says.
Aotearoa New Zealand continues to support the Ukraine with economic sanctions against Russia and its allies including Belarus and Iran.
