Kaipara District Council has denied the development of the former Dargaville racecourse has been stymied because of three waters concerns.
Kaipara District Council has denied the development of the former Dargaville racecourse has been stymied because of three waters concerns.
Te Taitokerau MP Kelvin Davis told Radio Waatea he understood development of more than 300 homes is on hold because the town’s sewage ponds don’t can’t deal with the waste.
But a council spokesperson says the development is progressing as a private plan change.
Council will organise hearing on the plan chance in the new year.
