Polls not fazing Labour heavyweights
Minister of Housing Minister Megan Woods says Labour isn’t letting polls distract it from its mahi.
The latest 1News Kantar poll showed National slightly increasing its lead on Labour, even though Jacinda Ardern is still the country’s preferred prime minister.
Ms Woods says the election is still months away.
“There’s many, many months to go to the election and I think one thing the last two and a bit years have taught all of us that if we try to project forward even six months what will be happening in the world, we will be wildly inaccurate. We are focused on the things that matter – our campaign will be focused on the things that matter to New Zealanders.” Minister Wood says .
National is up 1% to 38%, Labour is down 1% to 33%, ACT is up 2% to 11%, and the Green Party continues to hold steady on 9%.
