The New Zealand men's netball team was trounced 48-64 by Australia last night, but a spokesperson says the players are determined to make amends in the remaining game of the transTasman series.

Cameron van Baarle says they’ll draw on the influence of Maori, who make up about half the players.
“It’s a really important part of who we are as a team, it flows through the culture, it’s represented in our uniform as something that’s really important to us,” he says.
The two teams meet again in Melbourne on October 19 in a curtain raiser for the third Constellation Cup match.
