Last week’s wananga at Roundhead Studios in Tāmaki Makaurau brought together song writers, producers and mātanga reo under the eyes of Bic Runga, Sir Tīmoti Karetu and Dame Hinewehi Mohi.
Jordyn Rapana aka Jordyn With A Why says it was inspiring and invigorating.
“The connections you make, it doesn’t make the world smaller in a bad way, but it makes thing much more attainable – it puts you in connection with great mātanga reo who become friends and become resource and you become resource to other people so really making your whanau a little bit bigger,” she says.
