Māori skills added to business growth programme

Northland Inc has teamed up with Māori business development ropu Te Hiringa Trust to deliver the Regional Business Partner Network across Taitokerau.

Northland Inc has delivered the government-funded regional growth scheme in the north since 2011.

General manager Vaughan Cooper says the renewal of the contract created the opportunity to bring in a partner who could provide support for Māori pakihi.

Small-to-medium businesses make up 99.7 percent of the businesses across Taitokerau Northland
