Business kudos for Māori Tourism champion Tyson-Nathan

Download AudioLong-serving New Zealand Māori Tourism chief executive Pania Tyson-Nathan is now a member of the New Zealand Business Hall of Fame.
Maori Tourism chair Dale Stephens says the Kuhungunu princess is an outstanding contributor to Māori communities and Māori business.
He says she does her best work out of the limelight.
“She’s the absolute star of manaakitanga. She’s also the most widely-networked person I know across the private sector and especially in the government sector. All political parties highly regard her and that is important for an organisation like Maori Tourism because we have to be successful for our people regardless of the political front bench of the day so Pania does of great, great job bringing our people and getting the very best opportunities for them,” Mr Stephens says.
