Letterbox walk start to healthy life
It’s Men’s Health Week and the Brown Buttabean is helping tane Maori and Pasifika to step up.
Former boxer, Dave Letele, who once suffered from obesity and poor mental health, says everyone has the oppurtunity to change their life.
Start with small things like going for walks and visiting a doctor regularly.
“Don’t over think this. While you have an opportunity, start, and it doesn’t have to be like training for a marathon. Walk to your letterbox. Walk to your neighbour’s letterbox. Stop drinking fizzy drinks. All these changes will add years on to your life,” Mr Letele says.
