Rangatahi vaccination campaigners Got Ya Dot are heading to the Far North.

Kaikōrero Pere Wihongi says the region is struggling to hit the 90 per cent vaccination mark.

He says as a youth-led initiative, Got Ya Dot is always looking for new ways to engage with rangatahi.

“We’re now being able to breach the borders of Tāmaki Makaurau and we’ve been summoned to return the kaupapa back up to the Far North and that’s what we will be doing this weekend,” Mr Wihongi says.

Got Ya Dot vaccinators will be at Te Uri o Hina Marae and Mana House in Kaitaia, with free kai and a prize pool including electronics, gift cards, diving gear and a Rarotonga travel pack worth $5000.
