Carrington reigns supreme in Halbergs again

Dame Lisa Carrington’s golden year has been capped with winning her second supreme Halberg Award.
The 32-year-old kayaker from Ōhope last year became the first New Zealand woman to win three gold medals at a single Olympic Games, taking the K1 500 metres, K1 200m and the K2 500m titles in Tokyo.
She was also made a dame in the New Year’s honours list.
