The Tō Uru Raumati, Have Yours? campaign features short videos of Kiwi headliners posing at empty stadiums and music venues.
Organiser Te Aorere Pewhairangi says Stan Walker, Rob Ruha, L.A.B frontman Joel Shadbolt, kiwi-rapper JessB and soul singer TEEKS are among the stars warning festivals could fizzle if fans don’t get their shots.
“As much as it is their livelihood. It’s also their passion and they love to do it and love to connect with people. They all said there is a different wairua that comes with live performances. You can listen to it on your phone, in the car but there’s a different wairua or mauri that comes with live performance. ” he says.
