Vans get MUMA moving on vaccine drive
Manukau Urban Māori Authority is reaching out to get whānau in its rohe vaccinated.
Operations manager John Cameron says MUMA has acquired a couple of vans and a minibus to get out into the community and direct people to vaccination centres.
“We’ll be coming out and helping to direct people to our vaccination support partners and health partners in South Auckland – Turuki Health, Manurewa Marae, Papakura Marae and also the short busses that are around the motu at the moment,” he says.
Whānau can access other services like kai delivery for kaumātua, road safety and licences, financial management and advice and also their foodbank at 0800 636 232.
