There were 13 new community cases of Covid 19 identified in Auckland today.
They include a truck driver who has travelled across the Auckland border to make food deliveries in Hamilton, Cambridge and Tauranga.
Testing at the Auckland border becomes mandatory from tonight, and people who cannot provide confirmation of testing will be turned back.
There are 19 people in hospitals, including four in ICU.
