Rueben Taipari, Taitokerau Border Control coordinator
Protecting the people of Te Taitokerau is a priority for Border Control coordinator Rueben Taipari. Concerns arose when the country moved back into Level 4 lockdown on 17 August and large numbers of vehicles travelled through the north from what appeared to be Auckland. Many vehicles towing boats and the like. Rueben Taipari and his crew of Taitokerau Boarder Controllers have been working tirelessly to stop any potential spread of Covid 19 in the north. Rueben gives an update to Dale Husband.
