Police moved in this morning to arrest protesters blocking construction of Waiheke's Kennedy Point Marina.
The Protect Pūtiki and Ngāti Pāoa protesters have been occupying a building platform in Pūtiki Bay for the past week.
They're calling for Conservation Minister Kiritapu Allan to intervene to stop the work, which is threatening the habitat of kororā or little blue penguins.
At least three people were arrested, and police cleared tents and other equipment from the protest encampment on the foreshore.
