Maori TV executive returns to iwi radio

Māori Television's loss could be Rotorua's gain.

The channel's executive producer, Kereama Wright, has been appointed content manager of Te Reo Irirangi o Te Arawa's media hub.

Mr Wright says with the experience he has gained he can add value to the station and contribute to its overall direction.

He says Te Arawa FM has played a pivotal role in his life and was instrumental in helping his parents learn te reo Māori, who in turn, were able to pass it down to him and his siblings.
