Organisers of this year's National Touch Championship are looking at whether it can be rescheduled or reformatted.
The four-day tournament was set to kick off tomorrow in Ōtautahi with 84 teams in the line up.
Touch New Zealand CEO Joe Sprangers says it can't go ahead because of Covid restrictions.
He says there is a desire to still play so there will be one attempt to reschedule the event, after which it may be split into smaller competitions.
