Alert level drop means graduates celebrate

Western Institute of Technology is relieved the drop in alert levels means it graduation ceremonies can go ahead.
A special Māori & Pacific celebration is being held in the New Plymouth campus whare, Te Piere, this afternoon from 4:30pm.
Tomorrow more than 400 students in full academic regalia will hold a lunchtime march through the New Plymouth before heading to their graduation ceremony at TSB Stadium.
WITT chief executive John Snook says if anyone feels unwell – stay home.
