Maori Party doubles MPs

Special votes have delivered the Māori Party a second seat in parliament, with co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer joining Waiariki MP Rawiri Waititi in the house.
Labour also added one more to its total and three electorates, while National lost two MPs.
That means Willow Jean Prime in Northland and Priyanca Radhakrishnan in Maugakiekie come off the list to become electorate MPs while Matt King and Denise Lee leave Parliament.
In Whangārei, Emily Henderson comes into Labour’s caucus and Shane Reti stays in parliament on the National Party list.
Voting in the cannabis referendum closed up, but not enough to affect the result.
