Pharmac keen on drug equity training
Government drug buying agency has teamed up with clinical education provider He Ako Hiringa to develop resources that help health professionals eliminate inequities in access to medicines.
He Ako Hiringa is a collaboration between Airmed and The Health Media, which publishes NZ Doctor and Pharmacy Today.
Its plans include developing an online dashboard to allow clinicians to compare prescribing data with their peers.
Pharmac acting medical director Dr Ken Clark says it's not acceptable the come New Zealanders are missing out on publicly funded medicines.
