Peters wants voters late and listening

Winston Peters wants more time to convince you to vote for him.
The New Zealand First leader has spoken out against the rush to early voting, which is being promoted by other party leaders and the Electoral Commission.
With 10 days to go until election day he says there’s still a lot of talking to do.
"If you were going to buy a car, if you were going to buy clothes or food, you want to know what the full package is before you put your money down. Here we have got days to go with raging debates and parties dropping political clangers every day, making massive mistakes of billions of dollars in their accounting, and I do think New Zealanders need to know the full deal that they are going to vote on," Mr Peters says.
He says the rules saying all election advertising must be taken down by election day are a joke, as more than half the population is expected to have voted by then.
