Labour’s Nanaia Mahuta looks to have an unbreakable grip on her Hauraki-Waikato seat, with a Māori Television-Curia poll finding the Māori Development Minister has the support of 61 percent of likely voters.

Donna Pokere-Phillips drew 14 percent support in the survey of 494 voters polled earlier this week.

The margin of error was 4.4 percent.

In the party vote, 61 percent would support Labour and 8 percent the Māori Party.
