Eru Lyndon joins National Hauora Coalition board

The National Hauora Coalition says the appointment of Eru Lyndon to its board of directors will help deliver its vision of mana whānau, whānau ora.
Mr Lyndon, who has Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Hine, Ngāti Kahu, Ngāti Wai, Ngāti Whātua and Ngāti Toa connections, is the Ministry for Social Development’s Northland regional commissioner and also sits on a number of other boards including co-chairing Te Hiku Iwi-Crown Social Accord.
The coalition works with agencies, iwi and industry groups to commission and deliver indigenously designed health and social services.
It is also a lead advocate for hauora Māori in the Waitangi Tribunal’s WAI 2575 Health Services Kaupapa Inquiry.
The other board members are Dame Paula Rebstock, Te Rōpu Poa and Shelley Katae.
