Maori framework helping mental health awareness

It's Mental Health Awareness Week, and the Mental Health Foundation is drawing on a Māori framework to get its message out.
Māori development specialist Thomas Strickland says in line with Professor Sir Mason Durie's idea of Te Whare Tapa Whā, each day touches on a different wall of the house.
Day one was te taha tinana or physical health, today it's taha wairua or spiritual health, then taha whānau family health and te taha hinengaro or mental health.
It's urging people to take time out each day to focus on one side of the whare.
Thomas Strickland says to round off the week they've added te taha whenua, environmental health.
