COVID death in Auckland cluster


There has been a further death linked to the Auckland COVID-19 cluster, brining the New Zealand total to 25.
The man in his 50s was admitted to Waikato Hospital on August 19 and was transferred to ICU on August 26, but died yesterday afternoon.
His whānau say it shows the need to be cautious, and if you are sick and have symptoms, to stay home.
There are three people in hospital with COVID-19, one in isolation on a ward in Auckland City Hospital and in ICUs in North Shore Hospital and Middlemore.
There was one new case of COVID-19 reported today, a woman in her 30s who arrived from Dubai on September 9 and is related to the three cases reported yesterday.
