Watermark Hīkoi highlights threat from Dome Valley dump consent
Role Funding:

Opposition to a proposed mega-landfill at Dome Valley drew a hīkoi of more than 400 people to Aotea Square at lunchtime.

Ngāti Whātua and Ngāti Manuhiri says if Auckland Council grants Waste Management a consent, the dump could leach toxins into the Hoteo River and other waterways that feed into Kaipara Harbour.
