There has been one further death in New Zealand from COVID-19.
Director General of Health Ashley Bloomfield says 96-year-old Eileen Hunter was part of the cluster associated with St Margaret’s Rest Home in Te Atatu.
While she was considered to have recovered from the coronavirus at the time of her death, she was added to the tally, which now stands at 22.
For the sixth day in a row were no new cases reported, and there are now just 8 active cases, none of them in hospital.
