Waipareira joins testing regime

Te Whānau o Waipareira has opened a drive-in COVID-19 assessment centre at its Henderson Whānau Centre.
It’s aimed at people who have recently returned from overseas, those who have been in close contact with a traveller, and people with a flu-like illness or infection who know of no other probable cause for the symptoms.
Other new testing centres are at AUT Integrated Health in Northcote, Spectrum House, Howick, Pukekohe Family Health Centre and a Pacific-oriented centre at Langimalie Health Centre in Panmure.
They join testing stations at Henderson Specialist Centre, White Cross, St Lukes, Local Doctors Airport Oaks Clinic, Mangere, Takanini Urgent Care Clinic, Shorecare, Northcross, Oneroa Accident and Medical, Waiheke Island, and Coast to Coast Healthcare, Wellsford
Waitematā DHB chief executive Dr Dale Bramley says the opening of Māori and Pacific-focused clinics will ensure a culturally appropriate approach that will further reduce barriers to testing and ensure any positive cases can be closely monitored and managed.”
