After a 20 year hiatus, former Upper Hutt Posse member and Moahunter Teremoana Rapley has a new song out.
What's Going On? was produced by Bill Urale, better known as King Kapisi.
Rapley took time off performing to raise her children, but with her youngest now 18, she's keen to restart her career.
She's still using her music to comment on the state of the world.
"You do tend to see a lot of trends on how people have been treated and how people treat each other. If you watch the news, it's the same of the sort of thing, certain presidents and prime ministers of different countries doing certain things. People being blamed for the colour of their skin or the shape of their eyes," Rapley says/
Teremoana Rapley says despite being off the airwaves, she has always written and recorded music at her home studio.
