Santa sending reo replies

There’s 10 days left to write to Santa, and for the first time children can opt to receive their responses in te reo Māori.

NZ Post marketing manager Sarah Sandoval, also known as Santa’s head helper, says the cut-off for physical letters was this week, but Santa will respond to online messages received up to December 23.

NZ Post has been running its Write to Santa promotion for more than 20 years.

Ms Sandoval says letters have been coming in from August.
