Stories from Whānau Ora are to screen on Air New Zealand flights.
Helen Leahy from Te Pūtahitanga o Te Waipounamu says the airline was approached with the idea by Maui Studios, which has done a lot of work for the South Island Whānau Ora commissioning agency.
She says it’s inspiring to see how the whanau overcome barriers and define their own success.
"Initially the videos we commissioned for our whānau entities were for them to share in their own way, on Facebook posts and to be able to share their success amongst their whānau. Success breeds success and the more that others see the types of activities and the highlights whānau are experiencing, they want to do it their own way," Ms Leahy says.
