Minister happy with Mātāwai role
Māori Development Minister Nanaia Mahuta has reappointed Robin Hapi as the crown representative on Māori language body Te Mātāwai for a further three year term.
She says his reappointment will ensure continuity in the implementation of the Maihi Māori and Maihi Karauna strategies.
Mr Hapi is currently chair of Te Wānanga-o-Raukawa, deputy of Callaghan Innovation, a member of the board of North Island whānau ora commissioning agency Te Pou Matakana and the chair of the Māori Economic Development Advisory Board.
