Coalition puts up united front

Greens co-leader Marama Davidson says being able to compromise gives the coalition strength.
Labour, Greens, and New Zealand First politicians shared the stage in Auckland yesterday to present a united face and lay out the Government's priorities.
The Opposition labelled it an underwhelming TED Talk, but Ms Davidson says it was a chance to point to gains in housing, public services, water, environment and climate change – despite some policy differences between the three parties.
"We're moving forward. We have robust discussions, bringing our independent viewpoints but also just putting things out there to be done, getting things done, making changes and moves already in the first year in Government that are going to be better for our people and for our natural world," she says.
