Expect Māori trash talk from click bait Nazis

One of the organisers of a new anti-racism group expects a pair of Canadian far right speakers to turn up the dial against Māori if they come here.
Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux will speak at an as yet unnamed venue after Auckland mayor Phil Goff barred them from using council premises.
Joe Carolan from Love Aotearoa Hate Racism says the Australian leg of the trip featured insults levelled at Aboriginals and Muslims, and he expects a similar mix here.
"They’re going to say something disgusting and provocative about Māori because that's how these click-bait, YouTube nazis work. It's all about controversy. It's all about hate. It's all about saying the most nasty and provocative things," he says.
Mr Carolyn believes the pair’s backers including Free Speech Coalition founder Don Brash want to use controversy around the trip to builds a racist far right populist movement that can provide future electoral support to National.
