Māori business offered free mentoring

Māori businesses are being offered free training and mentoring under a new scheme to boost the Māori economy.
Te Wānanga o Aotearoa together with small business advisors Aotahi Limited and Crowe Horwath will offer 200 Pakihi workshops over the next year funded by Te Pūnaha Hiringa: Māori Innovation Fund.
Māori Development Minister Hon Nanaia Mahuta says Pakihi will provide the right support and direction no matter whether businesses are at pre start-up, start-up or growth stage.
Each Māori business participating in the workshops will receive free one-on-one mentoring with a business coach.
They will also get new skills, a growth plan and connections with other business support organisations and networking with other Māori businesses.
