Abuse inquiry terms offered

The chair of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Historical Abuse in Care, Sir Anand Satyanand, has reported to Internal Affairs Minsiter Tracey Martin on what its terms of reference should be.
He says he received 400 submissions in writing, by phone and at face to face interviews.
Half were from survivors of abuse or from people on their behalf, and others came from law societies, churches, and social workers.
The next step is for Cabinet to agree on a final Terms of Reference and for the other Commissioners to be appointed.
