Davidson takes on more work
Green MP Marama Davidson has taken on the water, children and economic development portfolios in a reshuffle of non-ministerial portfolios in the wake of her election as co-leader.
She continues to speak for the party’s stance on Maori development, Pacific peoples and ethnic and rural communities.
Whip Gareth Hughes has been appointed caucus strategist, a position that has been vacant since Kevin Hague left parliament.
Chloe Swarbrick is the new deputy whip and also takes on a newly established portfolio of drug law reform, following on from failed attempt to introduce a bill on medicinal cannabis.
Golriz Ghahraman picks up the disability portfolio from Ms Davidson.
