Maori views on education sought

Associate Education Minister Kelvin Davis wants to hear from Maori about the future of education.
Just 13 percent of the 5000 people who have filled out the online Korero Matauranga – Education Conversation survey are Maori.
Mr Davis says he wants Maori to share their thoughts about creating an education system that lifts Maori achievement and better engages tamariki and rangatahi.
The survey at conversation.education.govt.nz asks four questions:
– What does a successful student of the future look like to you?
– What will they need to know and be able to do?
– What things need to be in place to make sure every learner is successful?
– If you were the boss of education in New Zealand, what would you do first?
