Davidson makes case for Green co leader spot

The contest to be the next co-leader of the Greens is coming down to the wire.
Marama Davison and Julie Anne Genter have completed a final week of campaigning, and members now have two weeks to get their branch votes in.
Ms Davidson feels the signs are good for her message the party would benefit from having a co-leader who is not bound by cabinet rules.
"It’s really just about being very clear to the membership how I am the better other leader for this time for the party, as a person who is connected to the very communities and priorities we are campaigning on, and as a non-minister, to be able to hold our unique political voice strong and in place," she says.
The successful candidate to stand alongside James Shaw should be known on April 8.
